Tony Moss Dinner

International chef Tony Moss is currently living in China helping set up a series of New Zealand themed cafés, but he is returning for a few days only to Waiheke, and will be preparing an Asian themed dinner to be held at Peacock Sky, Friday November 23rd from 6:30 - 10:30 pm.

 

Tickets are limited to the first 40 people to book. The Waiheke Jazz Club will provide dinner music with vocalist Briar Ross. Peacock Sky wines will be available at cellar door prices as usual.

 

The 4 course menu is designed to bring in summer with Asian flavours:

 

  1. Chilled sugar cured tofu, soy and seafood consommé with baby Chinese parsley. 
  2. Shredded confit duck and prawn, watermelon, mint and pearl barley salad. 
  3. Slow cooked cinnamon lamb spare ribs crusted with dukkah, drunken dates, spiced kumara and roasted apple. 
  4. Creamed espresso jelly, chocolate sorbet, blueberry purée.

Transport can be aranged from the ferry terminal at Matiatia to meet the 5pm sailing from Auckland. The return shuttle will leave the venue in time to catch the 11pm sailing from Matiatia back to Auckland. Note: transport must be booked in advance.
