While Peacock Sky Vineyard does appear to be located in the green centre of our fairly wild-looking island in the Hauraki Gulf; our visitors will be happy to realise that, judging by the transport services on offer, they’re actually still in greater regional Auckland. Use our cheap local buses to get most of the way here, jump aboard a fully guided tour experience or ask your pilot to book a landing time on the airstrip nearby. All good!

Another way to save money on transportation, especially if you are in a smaller group, would be to catch the bus from the ferry terminal and go to Onetangi Beach ($3 cash, or only $1.80 per person using an AT HOP card). It’s a beautiful part of the island to experience, and it’s only a short 3km taxi ride to Peacock Sky, so about $10-15.
